Marvin “Toneworld” Hemmings Jr., is a 3x Grammy-nominated and Telly Award-winning, multi-platinum record producer, songwriter, pianist, and composer. Rooted in church, at the tender age of 6, Toneworld began playing piano which eventually led to him studying the art of music production at the age of 19. At the age of 21, he began the journey of producing full-time and, "never looked back."
Since his venturing out into the world of production, Toneworld has had the privilege of working with a broad range of artists such as Justin Bieber, Kirk Franklin, Jessie J, William McDowell, and Brandy to name a few. He has composed and arranged music for several television networks such as BET, MTV, VH1, NBC Sports, MSNBC, and Fox's hit television shows Empire and STAR.
Furthermore, Toneworld's production can be heard throughout Focus Features’ film, “The High Note” starring Tracee Ellis Ross and Ice Cube. In 2020, Toneworld co-wrote and produced, "It's Ok to Be Black" by Jac Ross for Island Records, which the NBA, NFL, and NASCAR selected to use as their response to the Black Lives Matters movement and racial injustice. In 2021,Toneworld went on to produce “There She Go” for Justin Bieber’s multi-platinum record, Justice Triple Chucks Deluxe, which received 8 Grammy Nominations in 2022, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Currently, he's finalizing a campaign for the global brand, Shea Moisture, and working on music for SONY and MARVEL pictures. Additionally, he's producing music for Kali Uchis upcoming project, Jac Ross' Christmas album and K-pop group, NCT Dream's upcoming project.
